NEWS -Zagreb, 1st october 2003. - To mark the passing of the new Environmental Protection Law, Green Action is calling on consumers to boycott products which contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and farmers to boycott GMO seed which would, in practice, result in Croatia becoming a "GMO free zone".

PRESS RELEASE -Zagreb, Croatia - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has today been criticised for its continued involvement in the controversial Zagreb municipal waste incinerator project, expected to cost up to EUR 290 million, in spite of the recent rejection of the project's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
