Invitation to seminar "Campaigning in the South East Europe – summer training"

This Seminar is a part of the Friends of the Earth International project: "Capacity building and networking among environmental NGOs and youth in South Eastern Europe with FOEI experience". The project will last for three years and it is supported by the MATRA programme of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With this project, Friends of the Earth International together with its strongest local member group in South Eastern Europe, Zelena akcija / Friends of the Earth Croatia, aims to use its world-wide experience in grassroots environmental campaigning and link up with interested NGOs in South East Europe.

From 2009-2011 we will organise summer training seminars for NGOs on island of Sholta and we are whishing that NGOs interested would take part in the education during the three years.

The 1^st year training will focus on how to conduct a campaign, elements of campaigning, planning a campaign (case studies) and developing project proposals for campaigns for a particular NGO. We will also include a media training, fundraising training, and environmental advocacy and mobilization training.
