Let's choose reuse - International hybrid conference
On the occasion of European Week for Waste Reduction, Zelena akcija invites you to an international hybrid conference, "Let's choose reuse," which will be held on November 20th from 9 AM to 8 PM at the Zelena akcija premises (Frankopanska 1) and online.
With this conference, we will conclude the capacity-building journey for reuse as part of the Erasmus+ project "Towards communities of reuse practice".
Are you interested in the topic of reuse and how to transform your ordinary "office" organization into a center for practical workshops and community events? Don't know where to start or what you need? Need inspiration and examples of good practice?
If so, don't miss this conference, which will hopefully inspire you to have one foot in your office and once at the community reuse and repair events.
Join us to see the different paths that Zelena akcija, Volonterski centar Vojvodine, and Ecorec from Greece have taken to bring the topic of reuse closer to citizens of all ages, especially those with fewer opportunities, by learning from and teaching each other.
We will also present tools that can be used to implement practical activities in your community, as well as tools for education and information.
What will the program look like?
The conference will be divided into two parts: online and in-person.
The first part of the conference will be both online and in-person, in a hybrid format, from 10 AM to 1 PM. It will be held in the Zelena akcija hall in Zagreb at Frankopanska 1 and via the Zoom platform, for which registration is required.
The online part on Zoom will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in Greek and Croatian / Serbian.
The second part of the conference will be in-person only from 3 PM to 8 PM, and registration is required for it. From 3 PM to 4 PM, there will be a lecture on fast fashion, followed by a demonstration of good practices in the Zelena akcija yard, namely the practices that we have launched, improved, and perfected over the past two years thanks to this project.
