This case study is designed to inform citizens about Croatia’s accession to the EU in the area of the environment, in an easy-to-under-stand way. It serves both as educational and lobbying tool aimed at informing citizens on the latest developments in environmental law and implementation, as well as influencing policy and decision makers in Croatia.

Reconstruction of cable car on Medvednica Cable car on Medvednica (nature-protected mountain on the northern side of Zagreb) has stopped to function several years ago. That has increased the number of private vehicles driving on the Medvednica, because many people decided to use their cars in order to reach the top of mountain.

There were 14 people from 10 CSOs (Centar za životnu sredinu, Green Tour, OKC Abrašević, Yugocycling, CEKOR, Young Researchers of Serbia, Proaktiva, Priroda i društvo, CEE Bankwatch and Zelena Akcija) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Croatia.
