Zelena akcija/FoE Croatia and the "People for People" initiative have raised 60 percent of the target amount as part of the charity campaign "Ray of sun - light of hope", and over 270 people, associations and businesses have donated so far.
We would like to thank everyone who has already donated and invite citizens to join the campaign and make a donation until March 11th (the end of the day) when the campaign ends. The goal is to bring electricity through solar systems to five households in Sisak-Moslavina County that do not have access to electricity.
This county is one of the areas of special state concern, and the "People for People" initiative, which recently received the Pride of Croatia Award, has been helping the area's population since its inception. This time Zelena akcija teamed up with them, identified households without electricity and decided to lend a helping hand. At the same time, the campaign seeks to raise public awareness of the problem of energy poverty in Croatia and promote solar energy as one of the key solutions to this problem and the climate crisis in general.

To this date, around 7,990 euros or 60 percent of the target amount (13 500 euros) has been raised through the site and bank account of the charity campaign.
