The campaign "Srđ is ours" deals with the protection of Mount Srđ above Dubrovnik. The citizen initiative that was formally founded in 2010 has the same name, and Zelena akcija/FoE Croatia is a member.

Major double victory! A behemoth resort development on Mount Srđ erased from the spatial plan, and Zelena akcija finally acquitted after 8 years of judicial exhaustion!

Zelena akcija marks a historic, double victory in the fight for public space and the right to defend the environment! After two full decades of resistance, the erasure of accommodation capacities on Mount Srđ above Dubrovnik from the spatial plan has been proposed. At the same time, after eight years of exhaustion in the courts, a final and binding acquittal has been rendered for the responsible persons of Zelena akcija.

Dubrovnik residents vote against golf course

Over 11,000 Dubrovnik citizens voted on Sunday, in a local referendum to save the cultural and natural heritage of the UNESCO city of Dubrovnik. 84% voted against plans to build a golf resort on the Srdj plateau above the city. Friends of the Earth Croatia is campaigning against the plan, which has links to alleged corruption and tax evasion, will come at the expense of local citizens, and will permanently damage Dubrovnik's international reputation.
