Green Action activists, in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, held a protest action today at 11 a.m. in front of the Ministry of Construction and Spatial Planning pointing out that the process of Environmental Impact Assessment for the third block of the coal power-plant Plomin has been turned into a farce.

Today, March the 28th at 11 a.m. Green Action activists, in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung held a protest action in front of the Croatian Government building on St. Marko’s Square to protest against the new block of the coal power-plant that is to be built in Plomin.

Zelena Akcija (Friends of the Earth Croatia) and Green Istria, with the support of several local residents, have today submitted a legal appeal against the environmental permit for the Plomin C coal power plant, which was issued on 20 September by the Croatian Ministry for the Protection of the Environment and Nature.
