New hunting law proposal in Croatia
Green Action has prepared position paper on the new law proposal in May (much worse in comparison with former law) and issued a press release in the media about it. The position paper has been sent to the Parliamentarians and Green Action has negotiated with one parliamentarian to present our position during the debate.

OTTER SURVEY ON LIKA RIVER IN CROATIA
Otter survey on Lika river is part of the Green Belt Velebit Project - a joint Green Action and WWF initiative for the long-term conservation and rural development of the large karst landscape system comprising the river basins of Lika, Gacka and Krbava, the Velebit mountain range and the sea channel where the system’s underground streams re-emerge.

Campaign against GMOs in Croatia
In an Open letter to the Croatian Parliament Green action (GA) has asked for improvements of the law proposal. We stated that for Croatia it is not necessary to produce or grow GMOs. We asked for public participation in decision-making process, more transparency and better access to information.

Sustainable Development and Strengthening of the Handicraft Tradition in the Mountain Velebit Area
As a result of many years of experience in the field work related to nature and biodiversity protection in Lika and Velebit area we have come to the understanding that adequate protection of natural resources is impossible without also conserving cultural heritage of the area and allowing economic prosperity for local population.
