We want to continue to work on environmental issues in the SEE region and we need an environmental NGO network.

The seminar was the final education in the three-year project supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs through MATRA programme. Twenty-one participants from seven countries (Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia) and from 16 different NGOs in the region have exchanged experience and knowledge among themselves. The focus was on how to run environmental advocacy campaigns in SEE region and how to improve their fundraising skills. The lecturers have been from Netherlands, Austria and Croatia.

By the end of the training the participants have identified the topics for the cooperation in the future, both in terms of skill-share and exchange of knowledge and working on different topics such are education on environmental law, renewable energy and nature protection. The participants have concluded that they would like to set up regional environmental NGO network.
